Wrists shackled, Anderson reacts to court order that he must stay in jail

David Nelson, attorney for jailed editor Bruce Anderson, said today that he is is trying to set another court hearing for Thursday, June 6, which is the earliest date that newspaper employees can testify following production. Mark Scaramella, Ling Anderson, Rob Anderson and Mark Heimann will all be expected to testify.
Bruce Anderson's wife Ling said tonight he is in better spirits, having adjusted somewhat to conditions. Anderson was allowed to get some books from the jail library, and bought a pencil and instant coffee from the commissary.

Mark Heimann said tonight that the June 2 Sunday New York Times is expected to carry a story about this case.
