Contributions to the defense of Bear Lincoln can be sent to the Lincoln/Peters Defense Alliance, which is the only official fundraising conduit. They sponsor benefit events, as well as support rallies and events, working with the defense team and the Lincoln and Peters families.

As a result of meetings in early May 1995, the Round Valley Indians for Justice organization was formed. The group's purpose is to seek justice -- in the broadest sense -- for all residents of the Round Valley Indian Reservation. They support the heirs of Leonard Peters in their wrongful death suit against Mendocino County. They also support Bear Lincoln's defense, and work for a truly independent investigation of the abuses of law enforcement. They want the formation of a tribal justice system, including tribal police and court, similar to the Hoopa Reservation's arrangement. Contributions can be sent to:
