People have said that they saw many police cars go up the hill to the shooting site before they heard any gunfire. Were there more police present than just Miller and Davis?
How many times was Leonard Peters shot, and by whom? With what gun? The autopsy reports is at odds with eyewitness reports.
Why was Deputy Davis's body found 15 feet away fromt he body of Peters, if he died instantly while checking Peters for vital signs?
Why were the deputies lying in wait at the top of the hill, and who ordered them to do so? Sheriff Jim Tuso was in Round Valley at the time personally leading the search for Arylis Peters.
If the police had information that Arylis Peters was at the Lincoln house in Little Valley, why didn't they go there looking for him?
Why did authorites refuse the Peters family permission to see the body? Why weren't they ever officially notified?
What is Sheriff Tuso's justification for arming his deputies with fully automatic M-16 rifles? These are weapons of war, not commonly used in ordinary local police work.
Why did Sheriff Tuso force the resignation of tribal investigator Jonathan Hill? Was Hill getting too close to the truth?
How does an already-broke Mendocino County expect to pay for the expensive show trial and the flood of litigation expected to come as a result of the behavior of the County Sheriff's Department?
